330ml into pint glass

L - dark brown/black, thin brown head.

S - dark cocoa , cherries, coffee beans, hint of pine

T - well roasted malts and dark choc upfront, with an ash-like smokiness and coffee beans near the finish. Lingering choc and berry finish

M - full bodied, slightly dry texture, moderate carbonation

F - taste is full on - almost like the malts have been burnt. Bit overpowering. (401 characters)

I had a 330ml bottle. First time I've tried this stout. This beer won a bronze medal at the 2014 CBIA craft beer awards in the 3H category (American Style Stout).
Appearance: very, very dark. Pours with Google looking creamy brown head. Everything you'd like to see.
Flavour: rich roasted grains offering lots of coffee flavour up front and bitter coffee finish. Full bodied and smooth. Enjoyable style. A beer you'll have one of at a session given richness, full body and high ABV.
Aroma: dark or burnt toffee/coffee. Tobacco notes as well. Very good.
Overall: I enjoyed this stout for its rich coffee bitter flavours and smooth full bodied creamy mouthfeel. (665 characters)
