From notes 7/14/13: Pours a hazy golden amber producing 2 fingers of creamy, off-white, somewhat lasting head that leaves behind motes, wisps and thin rings of lacing. Aroma is caramel and cotton candy backed by citrus, herbal and grassy hops. Taste is fronted by citrrus, floral and grass hops with caramel, citrus and pepper dominating the middle; it finishes malty, floral and spicy/peppery mingled with caramel sweetness before becoming mildly bitter with a low astringency in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate-high carbonation, prickly with pepper it is slightly slick and chewy.

Fresh pulled pint, Unfiltered, citrus with complex hop flavors vieing for supremacy. Unbalanced, but interesting. Not a session beer. Compares with foothills jade.

Medium amber with a thin foam cap in a shaker (from the bottle) at Scatch Kitchen in Salem, MA... toasty with hearty malts right alongside mild citrus... medium-light body with some tingle if carbonation but s generally smooth feel... bitterness and sugars both present in moderation... very enjoyable...

Described on label as a highly hopped English style IPA that combines the hop flavor with a sweet malty finish.
It poured a hazy golden color with a slight head. Not bad.
The smell was very uninteresting. It was indecipherable.
Taste was bland. Not very hoppy at all, not much malt on the finish.
Feel was pretty good. A little thicker than expected, but felt wholesome.
Overall: Didn't live up to the 92 score by the Bros OR the 87 overall. Probably like a 75 in actuality. Very much so a "blah" IPA that you'd drink if there weren't many other options, but wouldn't go out of your way to get again.
