12oz. bottle poured into a curved pint glass.

A- Solid amber hue, with about a finger of off-white head. Unfiltered, you can see sediment floating in the brew.

S- some bready, caramel tones with a decidedly earthy/floral hop component. Perhaps a bit of citrus rind.

T- Big smack of bitterness up front, mostly earthy, floral and a bit minty. The caramel and bready malt bill tries to cut through, but this is largely hop forward, and pretty bitter.

M- Medium bodied, but fairly thick and slick. A nice dry finish.

O- Much more like a jacked up English IPA than an American Interp. Good, and I'd certainly have it again.

Poured a lively amber hue with lots of carbonation and a firm white head leaving chunks of lace down glass.

Sweet maltiness of bready desserts come across with an almost back drop of hops. Earthy and herbal and maybe a touch stale.

Nice caramel sweetness with some grassy herbal hops and a firm bitterness that plays well with the sweetness.

Seems to lack a nice dry finish I crave in this style yet not fuller either, just thin.

Descent brew for the money, I guess, I MISS GREEN'S PINEY GROVE RD!!!!

Poured from the 12 oz. bottle into a Sierra Nevada IPA glass

a: Translucent dark amber with a two inch offwhite head which receded to clumpy surface foam and extensive lacing.

s: Mild citrus. A little more malt in the aroma as it is drunk.

t: Moderate piney hop bite over a substantial malt base. Bitterness lingers at the back of the throat, especially near the end.

m: Moderate, lots of body, more than many IPAs. I like that.

o: A solid IPA, perhaps not as light and easy drinking as some but tasty and satisfying. In that sense perhaps more British than American, or at least more autumnal than summer.
