According to the bottle this is an unfiltered ale brewed with apricot puree.

A cloudy pink pour with a small off white head. Looks like a glass of grapefuit juice. The nose is very sweet and full of ripe apricot and candy. The taste on the other hand is much more mild. Only hints of apricot creep through. There is a tartness and refreshing fruitiness to it. The mouthfeel is light and creamy. Seems to be the perfect summer quencher. A quality beer.

Presentation: 16 oz brown bottle with no freshness date.

Appearance: Hazed orange beige with a tiny bubbled lace that draws a little retention.

Smell: Big fruity aroma of peaches and apricots, yeast and wheat malt in the back.

Taste & Mouthfeel: The upfront crispness holds a refreshing quality in the palate. Very light on the hops with only a faint astringent grain to hold the sweetness at bay. Evident fruit flavors are at the appropriate levels. Ends with a yeasty note and more grain.

Notes: A half decent fruit beer, a tad bland in the malt department with a drawn-out graininess and a lackluster fruit flavor. A good try but there are better fruit beers out there.

I am not a big fan of fruit beers, especially contrived ones. This is not bad, but the apricot and peach are concentrates and its a soft drink really. But the bars need it for their lineup. This was medium mouthfeel, not that watered down, but its a herbal tea flavour there.

HEAD. As in this one has a huge HEAD. Smelled hugely of apricot and peach, but I found that comforting and pleasant aroma wise and not at all gimmicky. Very enjoyable aroma. Sooo the flavor is less pleasing. Apricot puree fruit mash melange and some mild watery wheat ale. This could have been a better realized brew if they would have made a sturdier wheat beer to carry the apricot/peach flavor. As it is the flavor is all apricot and water with a tinge of wheat.

Very hazy golden color due to being unfiltered. Almost no head to speak of. Not much in the smell department other than the slightest bit of apricot and peach tones (surprise surprise)

Taste is surprisingly smooth, refreshing and fruity. Apricots dominate the palate, and the peach mingles well with it. This would make a great sumemrtime/lawnmower beer. Finish is wet and fruity. Thin mouthfeel, but it is what it is.

While this isnt an exicting beer, its definately a juicy quencher. I could see myself chugging a few of these in the 100 degree Florida heat this summer.

16oz bottle with reasonably involved silkscreening obtained via trade with BierReise. Thanks for the opportunity...

Poured into an imperial pint glass, formed over an inch of whitish head which had good foamy staying power. A cloudy golden peach in color, and the aroma is peach and apricots, whoa, does the aroma ever match this brew's name! Flavor is not quite as fruity as the aroma led me to expect, and is actually quite well-balanced with the light malts and hops. Smooth mouthfeel, with enough hops action to keep the brew from hitting far that sickly-sweet level that some fruit beers achieve. A great summer beer, I would expect, and even though I am not the world's biggest fruit beer fan, I have to appreciate this one...

First had: on tap at their brewpub

The brewer called this beer Dunedin's "biggest seller," and it's pretty obvious why, especially if you're a woman or college student. Not really my style, and I'm assuming this uses syrup or concentrate rather than actual fruit, but overall, this was not a bad fruit beer, IMO.

Hazy, golden orange color, with a fizzy white head that receded to a wispy layer, maybe leaving a few dots of lacing on the glass. Sweet but not cloying aroma, caramel malts and apricot/peach. Taste reflected the nose, bready malts, toasted wheat, apricot/peach essence omnipresent but not overpowering, light leafy hops in the background. Body was light edging towards medium, above average carbonation. Not something I'd go for again, but good in its own way.

I am drinking a chilled sample in a pint glass. THe beer pours a hazy gold color. Fairly light color almost like champagne except for the haze. A bleached white head of .5 cm foams up and fades to a surface layer fairly quickly.
Aroma is all fruit. Apricots and peach as expected. The aroma is clean and is appealing. First sip reveals a light body (which ive noticed in most Dunedin brews) with fairly mild carbonation.
Flavor is very mild with some light fruitiness apricots and peaches again and a bit of general candy sweetness. The beer is clean, mild, and refreshing. A decent brew but not one I would try again.

Enjoyed this beer on tap at Dunedin Brewery .

A: Pours a slightly cloudy golden-orange hue with a 2-finger, fizzy, white head that quickly dissipates down the side of the glass ending in a wispy lace and no trail.

S: Sweet and fruity aroma – mostly peach and apricot .

T: Sweet fruity flavor (peach and apricot) with a wheat malt background.

M: Medium body and high carbonation.

O: Decent fruit beer –easy drinker.
