This beer came a slightly hazy, peachy gold with a thin, egg shell head with a slow stream of bubbles rising up from the bottom.
Smells of GINGER and wild flowers. This really dominates. I only get hints of bready malts beneath.
Tastes of dry and subtle ginger with a dry hop edge for balance. This finishes up with more of a pickled ginger sweetness.
Feels nice and present, almosty creamy with a sneaky, subtle carbonation.
Odd for the style, but still tasty. A good one for the summer.

Poured into a standard pint from a 12 oz bottle.
A hazy golden ale with a very thin white head. Solid lacing.
Spice forward. Heavily ginger. Solid yeast scent.
Different batches seem to have different levels of spice. This one goes down easy and combines ginger and lightly grassy accents. It's note bad.
A seemingly dry offering with a little too much carbonation. However, the first time it hits your mouth it seems rather wet. Then, the spice hits your throat on the back end and kills an otherwise solid summer effort.
Not a bad beer, perhaps more of an early spring beer. Needs some mouth feel effort. I remember this being a lot better a few years back. For a beer with a ballpark aesthetic, it definitely needs a lot of work. Probably the worst of PBC.

Borderline overwhelmingly spicy. Heavy, though for the right occasion, I would definitely enjoy this beer. Just not on an everyday basis. It would be best suited to complement a heavy meal due to the intensity of the flavor. I enjoyed the nostalgic bit on the label about Shibe Park.
I'm not sure I can come up with a good basis for comparison for this beer, as its floral and citrus hints are particularly pronounced, unlike any other brews I've tasted.
