Slightly hazy and golden in color with a slight white head. This brew has a slightly hoppy citric nose along with a malt beery scent. The flavor starts a bit sweet with a crisp citrus nature and then a slight bitterness bite to the finish. Pretty well carbonated with a medium/thin feel. This one is on the upper range of mediocre for a pale ale, actually one of the better offerings I’ve had from this brewer.

The bright golden orange beer is served in a shaker pint glass with a 1/4" white head that rapidly faces to leave just a bit of lacing.

The aromas contain a bit of pine and grapefruit but not much more.

The flavors are a bit floral, piney, and citric with a not quite pleasant malt backbone, since the earthy grassy bitterness comes through too strongly too soon.

The mouthfeel is on the light side of medium bodied with fairly light but persistent carbonation.

Overall it was drinkable but not one i intend to repeat. There's a certain musty character in the background which is almost off putting.

Bottle from my parents.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-sturdy orange/amber color with a cap of a little white foamy head that slid off fairly nice to leave some spotty lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of sweet to bitter citrus and piney hops flowing over some cracker to biscuit and caramel/toffee maltiness but cleanly done.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side with some undercurrents of the cracker/biscuit-like maltiness coinciding all about. Mild aftertaste of the cracker to caramel/toffee malts with a tickle of citrus.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a good sessionability about it, it's not too heavy. Carbonation felt good. ABV felt as projected. Nice finish of the pine/citrusy goodness with a good consistent malty level.
Overall, as an APA, I'd say this works, perhaps a bit "old school"/classic, but it's worth a shot to come back to if given the chance.

L: Dark orange, no foam, small lace, mild carbonation
S: Raisin. Not strong.
F: Mild foam. Dry finish. Bitter in front. Candy aftertaste.
T: Light to medium bitter. Slight grapefruit. Thin and candy like
O: Reminds me of JW Dundee Pale Ale. Pretty much the same profile of a cheaper but pretty good pale ale.
