Light gold color. Large head. Aroma is grainy, malty and sweet. A medium bodied weizen. Malts are sweet, with a very definite banana and clove aspect. Hops are a touch spicy. Mild, mellow flavor. Smooth taste. Light and refreshing weizen. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

A standard Bavarian weizen that's slightly more golden than orangeish but still delivers it cloudy, yeasty appearance beneath a full head of bright white froth.
An effervescent carbonation is clear depite its haze as streams of very fine bubbles race towards the surface. The head retention is excellent but its lacing leaves a little bit to be desired. The nose expresses a bready combination of wheat and barley amidst soft, yeasty notes of cotton candy, banana, bubblegum, and clove. It offers all of the usual aromatic characteristics, yet its very refined. I'd guess that it's fermented at slightly cooler temperatures than some of the more robust examples. The body is medium and its very fine and effervescent carbonation gently tickles the tongue before warming to become lightly creamy and smooth across the palate. The flavor delivers yeasty notes of mild banana and delicate clove wrapped in soft, lightly sweet and doughy malt. It's well balanced by a low-key bitterness, and it finishes drying with a light touch of clove-like spice and some residual, candyish malt. Although some might pass this by as being light for the style, this is an exceptionally drinkable weizen due to it's somewhat refined character.

Poured a turbid gold with orange highlights with muddied muted brown yeast chunks. No real head retention to speak of. Some of your typical banana and clove hefe qualities in the nose. Sweet malt profile but overall, this beer seems to lack some character. It certainly isn't bad; just not one of my favorite hefeweizens from Germany.
