This is a great place in downtown PDX. Has a clean modern kindof feel to it. When I was there last week they had a great kind of obscure list of tap beers. Beers that you don't find at most other beer bars. They also have a real good list of bottled beers available. We had a draft pint of wheat beer from Alameda and a bottle of Pelican IPA both of which were served appropriatley and were excellent. Though they didn't serve food there the bartender gave us menus for a little Mexican place across the street....aparently they deliver and you can eat at Baileys. I loved this place and when I'm back in PDX I do plan to come back.

Visiting Portland from San francisco I stopped by Bailey's on an early spring week-night. I was initially really excited for this place and intrigued by the electronic menu. The menu lists the beers, ABV, style of glass poured, and maybe how much beer was left in the keg? The selection is mainly awesome beers from around Oregon, the definition of a cool local spot to me serves top local beers, so this hits the mark. The service was the only problem, I maybe got unlucky but a specific bartender was a rude wanna-be hipster who poured me the wrong beer on accident and then refused to replace it with the right one. I'll be back.
