hey it's in downtown and it smells like it. was here for the cellarfest and unfortunately missed out on the two beers i wanted to try most. only about 16 beers on tap. i thought maybe the list posted was partial, but clearly not. even still, some really good stuff. crowded, some pretty cool cats in the joint. our table was uproarious because this shit is fun. unfortunately, laughing loudly does not agree with the bartenders as they cut the table off. "you're at the table with the guy in the red shirt? you guys are done." it doesn't help that we broke one of our taster glasses. but that same woman defeated another table in thumb wrestling to win the thumb wrestling ring back to washington.
also, outside you can meet a homeless guy who wants beer. you can give him your homebrew that is in your backpack. when he asks what it is, and you tell him, he says it's not malt liquor, and he won't be having any. offended, you put the beverage back in your bag. later, he will change his mind. you will tell him to fuck off.

Where else can you get $3.50 12-oz pours of Notorious?

Bailey's offers cheap prices, a high-tech tap list that shows how much is remaining in each keg, a PNW-focused tap selection, and a relaxed atmosphere.

I travel to Portland for business very often, and I always spend at least one night at Bailey's. The true rotating taps, focus on the unusual and nano brews, and knowledgeable staff make it a great place to be. It does get crowded later in the week, so be fore-warned. I also recommend getting dinner from Santeria's brought over.
