Served in a tumbler.
All I hear is Crush lauding my exploits amongst the field of jellies... Anyway, this stuff pours a clear sunrise amber topped by a finger of off-white foam. The nose comprises rye spice, caramel, funky wheat, funky lemon peel, and light tobacco. The taste brings in more of the same, but with a distinctly increased sweetness across the board, softening the tobacco and pine hop flavor and melding them more smoothly into the background. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a drying finish. Overall, a nice rye IPA, one that allows the rye to shine through thanks to a softer hop burn.
