10/30/07 Update: Unfortunately, this store is now closed.
This store is located on the back side of an outdoor shopping mall called Towne Center. It is primarily a fine wine shop and also offers cheese and accessories. It has an upscale and pleasant feel.
The beer section is located in the back. It is hard to judge the selection itself because it is quite small but excellent in terms of only offering very high quality beers. This store makes the effort to have the best beers available and I certainly appreciate that more than anything. The gentleman who works there seems to be happy to help and knowledgable too. Some beer is kept in a small cooler and some on a room temperature shelving unit. Prices are a little steep but that is the nature of craft beer pricing in this area.
All in all, I would say this is probably the highest quality selection, proportionate to the size, in Mt. Pleasant. To do better, you would have to go Downtown.

This is definitely the cadillac of beer buying in the Charleston area. While it is mainly a wine store, this establishment has embraced the craft beer movement. There are tastings every Thurs from 5 to 7. A great experience.
They have a small selection of beers, but definitely high end. On a recent stop I purchased;
Aventinus (4 a 0.5l vs 4.99 Total Wine)
Aventinus Eisbock (only place that has it in Charleston)
Terrapin All American Pilsner
Samiclaus (6.00 a bottle)
There are many other beers, probably close to 45 selections.
Worth a stop for those harder to find beers you wish to cellar.
