I purchased this beer at Jimbo's in Escondido, CA. I bought a six pack. I poured the 12 ounce bottle into a rounded Snifter.
Appearance: the head was small in comparison, it was white and dissipated quickly, leaving no residues. The beer is warm amber in color.
Smell: nothing noteworthy here, simply smells like an average amber.
Taste: the beer tastes earthy and rough at first, but you get used to it. Again, nothing really special.
Mouthfeel: for some reason, organic beers tend has some sort of earthy grit to it. It was not my favorite flavor, but it wasn't bad either.
Drinkability: I would call this beer drinkable. Maybe you could find some satisfaction in drinking a beer labeled organic, even if it's nothing outstanding.
I might recommend this beer to my hippie friends.
