From a can
This beer pours dark brown in color. When I hold it up to the light it looks like more of an amber color. Since it is darker, I can't really see through it, but, it does look somewhat clear. The head comes out to 2 finger, and somewhat tan in color. Frothy looking and decent retention. At the end, there's just 2 arcs of lacing on my glass.
The aroma is somewhat light. Some cola notes to it. Malty, biscuit hints as well.
Taste - Fairly mellow right away. The flavor in this beer builds somewhat. I get some notes of cola, and caramel. There's a faint nutty flavor that comes into play in this beer as well.
I am liking this body. Nice and smooth, like silk. yet full feeling at the same time.
I am really enjoying this beer. Quite tasty tonight.

Dark brown color...nice tan head...aroma is soft with some chocolate malt..flavor is sweetish but lacking a melanoidin impression...some dark fruits and raisins...chocolate...
Medium full bodied....rich and clean...the more I drink this the more I think it fits as a solid bock. I'd buy it again but to be clear this is not an elite bock. Still if my local brewery had a bock like this on tap I'd drink a decent amount of it.

Pours a clear, cola-brown in color, with near excellent clarity. Off- white / light tan head leaves good lacing behind as it falls.
Nose is very neutral, and with little discernible sweetness, but no off- character notes.
Sweet and medium bodied on the first sip. Very low bitterness as is characteristic of the style, and a bit strong for a regular strength bock.
Altogether it’s not bad, and might be worth checking out if you are looking for an average to good American bock.

7.2 ABV tested from 1st batch of 2018, 16oz Cans.
Look: Transparent Dark amber or Medium Brown. Nice very light tan head that leaves plenty of lacing.
Smell: mild roasted sweet malt
taste: Some roasted malts with some caramel, dark fruit, chocolate, Bread. Micro hints of hops No flavor dominates. pretty well Balanced. This is a smooth medium duty flavor wise dunkel bock. medium sweetness.
A nice beer, I have had this in the years past. But it seems better this year. It could just be that I got it much fresher this year. this really tastes like a somewhat sweet smooth brown ale 4.02/5

16 oz can poured into red solo cup for the short notice share with Justin and Morgan in FL. Brown body with creamy tan head that sticks, even to the plastic cup. Super malty aroma with notes of cocoa, roast, a little smoke, and bread. Taste is sweet - roasted malt with chocolate, plus a touch of leafy hop bitterness and alcohol on the swallow. Medium body, creamy and slightly oily texture, average carbonation, a pleasant touch bitterness on the finish.
