Stopped in for lunch at my local Iron Hill. The space is fairly new and it shows. Very modern and upscale feel for a brewpub. Makes sense since it's located beside an expensive private college. Service was prompt and seemed knowledgeable about the beer. Food was good, although I only got a crab quesadilla, so that may not be a great indicator. The regular beer list (pale lager, amber lager, pale ale, etc) isn't overly impressive but the seasonal list is fantastic. I had a cask conditioned Rye IPA which was outstanding. I also sampled their Belgian Tripel, Berliner Weiss, and the Shokolad Stout. All three were delicious but the Shokolad Stout, a chocolate RIS, was amazing. I got a growler to go ($20 growler included). They also were serving a German Pils, a hoppy American Wheat, a Belgian Summer Ale and a Sweet Stout. Overall, a great lunch at a great brewpub.

This was a good find because it was both microbrew oriented and kid-friendly. The food was upscale chain quality, with some inventive choices. (We enjoyed Octoberfest egg rolls and fried Brussels Sprouts)

On the beer side of things, they have a nice in house brewed tap selection and some cask/ reserve bottle choices. I drank the American Pale Ale, the Dy-no-mite IPA (their name, not mine), and the nitro Russian Imperial Stout. (My wife tried the kith lager and the "honey do wit" wheat beer) The Russian Imperial Stout was the winner of the bunch for me but the IPA was good as well.

Overall, this was a good find in a vacation area.
