I've been here quite a few times and always enjoy myself. It's right across from my college, Franklin and Marshall. The Iron Hill building is owned by the college. There are a few more shops on the street level with the brew pub and up above is very nice student housing. The architecture is in keeping with the magnificent brick buildings on campus.
There's good parking behind the brewery, just make sure you don't use the student parking.
Inside is quite elegant with high ceilings, lots of wood, and big windows, which thankfully are covered with moveable shades when needed to keep the sun out of your eyes while dining. It's a big space with two dining areas, a good-size bar and high stool bar tables.
The beer menu always has something I can appreciate, and in the last few years has had more IPAs than previously. Just yesterday I had their special release Kryptonite double IPA, which is all it is cracked up to be.
The food menu is extensive. I had a black bean burger and side salad yesterday and quite enjoyed it. The sandwich prices are moderately priced. The entrees, while quite good are on the expensive side; say about $23 per plate. My sandwich with salad was $10.
The wait staff were friendly and engaged.
There's a good mug club if you are so inclined.

This was a good find because it was both microbrew oriented and kid-friendly. The food was upscale chain quality, with some inventive choices. (We enjoyed Octoberfest egg rolls and fried Brussels Sprouts)
On the beer side of things, they have a nice in house brewed tap selection and some cask/ reserve bottle choices. I drank the American Pale Ale, the Dy-no-mite IPA (their name, not mine), and the nitro Russian Imperial Stout. (My wife tried the kith lager and the "honey do wit" wheat beer) The Russian Imperial Stout was the winner of the bunch for me but the IPA was good as well.
Overall, this was a good find in a vacation area.
