Not gonna beat around the bush on this one, I put a little bit more age on this one then I intended. Wasn't really into this German beers when I picked this one up.
Looks decent. A nice amber body with a bone white body head. Pours 2 a finger head that dissipates rather quickly to a ring. I really have no idea what I'm looking for.
The smell is incredibly skunky, with some sazz hops in the background. The hops smell is semi subdued. I'm not a huge fan of the huge skunk, but there is something about the smell that keeps me from going lower.
The taste is refreshing, some white grape, slight sazz, slight skunk, and some graininess. It's an unusual taste, the texture fits well enough. This was a weird a beer, but good enough to try again. I'm interested to see what else this style has to offer.

Stopped by the publick house for a bite and to pick up some IRS bottles. Ordered a flight with bratwurst. Brew arrivedin a few ounce sample pour. Copper color. Fairly malt forward with a soft hop. German crystalized malts. Nice easy drinker nothing mind blowing. Good altbier.
