Altbeer. Pours a crystal clear amber color with a reddish hue throughout. A soft white head that does die out quickly. No real lacing to speak of either.
The nose is mostly grainy and husky. Almost pilsner in a way. Some subtle Munich note on the back end but limited. The yeast is light. Some hints of esters and a light phonlics. Almost wine like. Would like a bit more character overall.
The taste is a bit more descript. The grainy and husky notes continue into the taste but more specialty malts are there. Some lighter toasted notes and a hint of Munich sweetness. There is a minerally taste that is kind of salty. A deterrent that lingers into the finish. The yeast is clean as well. Hint of grapes. There is a light hop note but nothring very distinct. Could use more.
The body is between moderate and light. I would like to see a touch more body but its ok. Carbonation is low as well. Overall a good beer, very easy to drink but would like to see more character and depth.

Stopped by the publick house for a bite and to pick up some IRS bottles. Ordered a flight with bratwurst. Brew arrivedin a few ounce sample pour. Copper color. Fairly malt forward with a soft hop. German crystalized malts. Nice easy drinker nothing mind blowing. Good altbier.
