Big thanks to LauraAndrew fro this one....gotten in a Dark Lord for Westy 12 trade.
Deep honey to copper colour...with one finger fluffy off white to tan head. Just BARELY hazy.
Aroma is malty and nutty, with just a hint of fresh orange and the barest tinge of clove.
Fruity and just a hint spicy. Hints of peach, almonds, and *slight* bit of oak. Nice maltiness up front, and an even hoppiness on the end.
Light to medium body on this one, and a little too much carbonation for me. It's not unpleasant, though.
Very drinkable. Goes down easy- perhaps too easy. Doesn't overwhelm with character, but is nice and solid. Not my first choice, but I wouldn't turn one down.
