Pours copper with a thin head that immediately disappears to a thin patch and a slim ring. No lacing was left.
The smell is of sweet grainy malt. It was hardly noticeable.
The sweet grainy malt (barley?) and touch of sweetened nuts and hint of caramel blended with metallic hops. It leans towards the malt, but the bland, metallic hops are noticeable in the background.
It starts out as medium-bodied, but then thins as drink progresses. The flavors are restrained. It has the potential for smoothness if it were not for a metallic tinge.
The "secret" is out. It's a lackluster beer. Not terrible, but bland. Much better alts out there that are just as easily, if not more, accessible.

Stopped by the publick house for a bite and to pick up some IRS bottles. Ordered a flight with bratwurst. Brew arrivedin a few ounce sample pour. Copper color. Fairly malt forward with a soft hop. German crystalized malts. Nice easy drinker nothing mind blowing. Good altbier.
