The aroma is really quite bad. Its metallic, dusty, malty, and hoppy. The appearance is amber with a large head. The flavor is much better than the aroma with an emphasis on toasted malt, grain husks, and butterscotch. The palate is average for the style. Overall it has good and bad but the taste is good.

Stopped by the publick house for a bite and to pick up some IRS bottles. Ordered a flight with bratwurst. Brew arrivedin a few ounce sample pour. Copper color. Fairly malt forward with a soft hop. German crystalized malts. Nice easy drinker nothing mind blowing. Good altbier.
