had this from a 12-oz bottle.
A: Pour a nice amber, copper color with a moderate head and significant lacing. A good looking bier.
S: Roasted grains are the main attraction here. A little sweetness there,inviting.
T: This is a good altbier. It has a roasted with mod sweet taste that is full in flavor. No watery taste hier. No bitter after taste.
M: a full flavored bier period.
D: Easy to drink, could have a few of these without hesitation.
Overall, this is one of the better american made altbiers I have tasted. It isn't on par yet with their German fathers, but a darn good brew. I strongly recommend this bier. Prosit!

Stopped by the publick house for a bite and to pick up some IRS bottles. Ordered a flight with bratwurst. Brew arrivedin a few ounce sample pour. Copper color. Fairly malt forward with a soft hop. German crystalized malts. Nice easy drinker nothing mind blowing. Good altbier.
