Pours a dark brown color with a light off white head. Great display of lacework, and there is no sediment.
Aroma of coffee and light vanilla.
In the taste, more if the vanilla, coffee and even molasses. Low bitterness but a good balance. Nice roasted malt flavor.
Medium bodied and well carbonated.
Overall, this is a really solid porter. Would have it again.

On the pour it has a rich deep brown color and produced a medium sized head. The heads fades to a small frothy coating while leaving a bit of lacing.
Aroma doesn't really appear any different then your standard porter. Hints of roasted malts are dominate with subtle aromas of coffee and cocoa.
The taste has plenty of roasted malts perhaps chocolate and a bit of smoke.
Drinks a bit course and doesn't flow across the palate easily/
The alcohol is the only thing I see thats amped up here, everything else is pretty standard I'm afraid.
