No discernible freshness dating

Pours an effervescent honey color with a thumb of pearl colored head. Great lacing & head retention

S: Faint breadyness, floral notes & yeastyness & pears

T: Floral & leafy hops, a touch of sweet doughyness, plus mineral dryness up front. Pears & white grape as this warms, along with floral & herbal hops, plus a bit of breadyness. Finishes fruity, bready & dry

MF: Light bodied, delicate carbonation, nice balance

Drinks easy. Tried one of these a little above lager temp & it did nothing for me. Surprised at how a few degrees makes a difference. Nice take on the style

Ah crap, is this really a summer seasonal? Shame on me for buying a bottle with no freshness date. But also, shame on Southampton for not providing one and shame on the Fridge in Lancaster PA for selling this so far out of season.

a: Mostly clear pale golden, pours with a short lived fizzy head.

s: Sweet dough, minerals, plus a fair amont of fruitiness; pears mostly.

t: If this is old it held up ok, sort of. A bit too sweet, almost sugary, vague flavor. Nice breadiness and hint of minerals.

m: Sweetness makes this feel heavier than it should.

o: Probably pretty good fresh, oh well.

Surprisingly good tasting local Pils. Lemony and good looking.

Appearance: Pours a hazed pale golden with a foamy white head that retains and laces well. Retains an inviting film. Great unfiltered craft.

Smell: Too subtle and simple for high marks, but pleasing. Lemony, grainy, white bread, grass, hay, clean hops. A bit of farmland.

Taste: Much greater than the smell, starts with citrus and stays lemon / bread all the way with a clean earthy long finish. Great food beer. Again a tiny bit of root vegetables and spring cellar.

Mouthfeel: Light with good body, not thin, plenty of carbonation. Excellent summer or fall feel. Great food beer.

Drinkability: Very hoppy for a pils. A must try. Original. Refreshing. Sessionable beer, perfect for summer and fall, oysters and fish.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, no bottle dating. Pours moderately hazy golden straw color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that linger. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with plenty of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, grape, floral, grass, light pepper, cracker, bread, light honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of malt, hop, and yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, pear, apple, grape, floral, grass, biscuit, light honey, light pepper, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Slight earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of light fruits, floral, grass, biscuit, light honey, light pepper, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance of malt, hop, and yeast ester flavors; with nice flavor robustness and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and lightly crisp mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice unfiltered pilsner style! All around nice balance of flavors; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
