12 oz. bottle with no freshness date, but it tells me this is brewed using domestic malts and 5 varieties of Pacific Northwest hops. It pours a crystal-clear, bright golden-orange with good amount of carbonation and an inch of off-white head that tries to lace but I keep swirling it away. The aroma is kinda weak at first, where I detected green/leafy hops, fruity (apricot?) and buttery malts, with pine, grapefruit, and mango hops making an appearance toward the end. There is a big hop presence on the palate, with pine, grapefruit, mango, orange, apricot, leafy/resiny/soapy? hop oils that coat well, along with a backbone of buttery/caramel malts and a medium bitterness. The body starts medium but becomes thicker without losing its carbonation and leaves a fairly long finish. Overall a well balanced IPA from a brewery I've been wanting to get to know better.
