Appearance - Very pale yellow, with a small but dense and lumpy white head.
Smell - Grapefruit, pine, alcohol, resin, and a bit of buiscut.
Taste - It starts out bready, dry, and well balanced, but the hops show their true power at the finish. The finish is very bitter, as is the lingering aftertaste. Now that I think of it, there's not much flavor to the hops other than bitterness, and a little bit of grapefruit that probably comes from the nose more than anything.
Mouthfeel - Medium-thin body and medium-low carbonation.
Notes - This isn't really my kind of IPA, in that I prefer more diverse hop flavors and less raw bitterness. Like all my reviews this is the first beer of the night, however I suspect this beer would work better at the middle or end of a session, when your taste buds are already numbed and the bitterness would be more welcome. I didn't care for the lingering bitter aftertaste and the thinner-than-average body. On the plus side I enjoyed the nose, and the dry malts worked well. Overall, I'd rate it as average. Not bad, but not worth seeking out.

This is almost a session IPA, not boozy not overwhelming hops. A well designed beer. I say almost because its right on the cusp with an abv in the 5-6% range. Its very drinkable. The price was good for a bomber. I would prefer to get this in a six pack, but I have only seen the big boys around here. I love hoppy beers and this one has a good amount of hop presence there, however, its also not a Stone IPA either.
Color: Mild bronze, a decent amount of head that remained throughout.
Smell: Balance of malt and hops, not an intense hop aroma, but a good amount of floral hops.
Taste: Balanced. this could be my go to standard IPA if it were more readily available around here and in six packs. I am not saying they don't put this in six packs, but they are not found around here.
Overall: A pleasant experience, you could drink a few 12 oz beers or a couple of bombers and not be bombed. It has a nice IPA flavor, it is what a regular IPA should taste like.
