The slope-sided half liter bottle pours a brew that is amber-tinted golden in color with a finger's thickness of cream-colored foam atop. The bubbles are of a wide variety-- small, dense, and glossy or big, glassy, and milk-like, but in any case, the head fades rather quickly to a ragged short-collared skim. A tattered film of lacing remains on the sidewalls of my willibecher to chronicle the passing of this Punk.
The aroma is fruity with hops and malty-toasty-sweet. Potent notes of pineapple, ripe mango, and lime zest play well with a thinnish background reminiscent of saltwater taffy spiked with green herbs.
The taste is sweet and malty with the same mildly-toasty taffy-like character as the nose. The hop flavor is more grassy, bitter, and astringently herbal that the fruitiness of the aroma indicated, but not in a good way. Truthfully, I find both the malt-forces and hop elements are a little lacking in potency, flavor, and punch.
The drink is light-medium in body and very mildly carbonated. A pretty easy drinker nonetheless.

This is almost a session IPA, not boozy not overwhelming hops. A well designed beer. I say almost because its right on the cusp with an abv in the 5-6% range. Its very drinkable. The price was good for a bomber. I would prefer to get this in a six pack, but I have only seen the big boys around here. I love hoppy beers and this one has a good amount of hop presence there, however, its also not a Stone IPA either.
Color: Mild bronze, a decent amount of head that remained throughout.
Smell: Balance of malt and hops, not an intense hop aroma, but a good amount of floral hops.
Taste: Balanced. this could be my go to standard IPA if it were more readily available around here and in six packs. I am not saying they don't put this in six packs, but they are not found around here.
Overall: A pleasant experience, you could drink a few 12 oz beers or a couple of bombers and not be bombed. It has a nice IPA flavor, it is what a regular IPA should taste like.
