Notes/Commercial Description:
Welcome to a post Punk apocalyptic mother fucker of a pale ale.

A beer that spent its formative years Blitzkrieg bopping around India and the sub continent. Quintessential Empire with an anarchic twist.

God save the Queen and all who sail in her. Raising a Stiff Little Finger to IPAs that have come before and those it is yet to meet.
Turn up the volume Pay the man. Embrace the punked up, fucked up outlaw elite.

Never Mind the Bollocks this is the real shit.

A: Appears to have some chill-haze. Hazy light amber in color. Medium head retention. Some lacing evident.

S: Brilliant! Grapefruit galore! Very ripe dark citrus (tangerine?) with a hint of pine. Something else there that I can't quite place....

T: Berries and pine upfront. Very unique hop profile. Bright, floral/fruity flavors followed by a deep, rich, complex finish (honey/pine). Bitterness is present but no unpleasant. Fantastic!

M: To style. Medium body, not particularly heavy, not particularly light. Very enjoyable.

This is one of the most unique beers I've tried in awhile... really glad I ran across one at the LCBO. Will definitely grab it again. For an 8-9% IPA it's extremely drinkable!

The new standard in basic IPA.
Smooth, hoppy but not too bitter.
Its just really good beer, its the sort of thing you take to a party to impress people that you like good beer, then make sure noneof the losers get any cos its too good for them.
They dont deserve it
Entry level Brewdog, go do it tday

a most excellent ipa! pours a dead sexy honey color with some cloudiness to it and a just off white head of fluffly lasting suds. its really gorgeous. smell is less stunning, kind of bland actually in the nose. there is that sticky hop waft going on, but its not prominent. my best before date is 1/13, so this must be fresh. in any event, the nose is a minor problem, but the taste is fantastic, not bland or washed out at all. the cool thing here is that the hops hit with that sticky sweet stuff on the back end,and the bitter dry kick is on the front end. in fact, it has quite a long wet finish on it, and is crisp in the middle. its an odd experience, but one i am really enjoying. only a few minutes after a sip can the real bitterness be tasted on the tongue. hop bouque it a mix of grapefruit and orange rind, and is a bit acidic actually. mouthfeel is good, lighter than medium bodied and carbonated a bit more than is normal in an ipa, which works well here. its a beautiful beer really, and the nose is opening right up as it warms. reinventing the wheel here a little, and i like it.

Pours a hazy gold-orange with a thin white head, some light lacing, moderate carbonation.

Smells of citrus rind, honey, fruity and spicey hops, strawberries and pine resin.

Tastes nice and malty upfront with citrusy/spicey hops that dominate the palate throughout.

Very quenchable beer on a hot summer day, not too hoppy but balanced just perfectly. Definitely a beer I would try again!

Pours a nice hazy golden orange, with a large rocky ecru head, and some nice lacing.

Smell however is malty, with some hops, and hint of tropical fruit.

Taste is bitter, front to back, lacking in depth and balance.

Texture is lighter, with a good mouth feel, and medium drinkability.

After so many IPAs, it takes a good one to wow me, and I am not wowed. Malty aroma, all bitter flavor. It's ok.

Enjoyed a bottle in a Red Hook cylinder? (I don't know how to describe this glass haha!) Best by 12/12.

A - Pale and lager-like yellow with little complexity. Fair sized white head with fair retention.

S - Pine, hops, grapefruit, and some bread nicely blended together. Simply fantastic on the nose.

T - A wet and chewy sensation. Follows the nose with flavors in addition to a hop profile that contains some bitterness on the back end and some nice aromatic hops up front. Rather delicious I must say.

M - Prickly is the best word I can use to concatenate this brew. Carbonation sets off the tastes and finishes rather crisp.

O - I was very impressed with this one and it makes 2/2 brews from BrewDog that I would be pleased to encounter again. Pass me another!

Love the marketing blurb.

A: Body literally looks like piss. Massive cumulonimbus cloud of a head.

S: Massive waft of grapefruit and some peach.

T: Fresh, upfront grapefruit being the only really discernible flavour and then there's some caramel too. Grapefruit balances the bitterness beautifully. The head is still gargantuan and very chewy - I reckon it could hold a coin. Best lacing I've ever seen.
Floral citrus in the aftertaste, which lingers for a good 20 mins.

O: Very nice drink. Very refreshing.
