Sampled on 10/1/2010. This Imperial India Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 660ml bottle. Best before 2/2/2010. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, with a some floral hops. A medium bodied Imperial IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet, caramel, touch of pineapple. The hops are herbal and piney. There is a little age on this bottle so it's starting to make that morph to a barley wine. The hop character is going away, but there is still a really nice hop profile as the malts start coming up. A touch of orange. A little sweet at the finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
