Cloudy golden orange colour with a smooth, off-white head. Good head retention and lacing.
Very light hop aroma. Some acetaldehyde. Lightly grainy. Not good.
Slightly grainy malt. Crisp, clear bitterness. Light tropical hop character. Disappointing and really quite poor for a Pale Ale yet alone an IPA.
Medium-light body with moderately-high carbonation. Fine.
Not a good IPA. I was really looking forward to this but the lack of punchy hop character really lets it down.

IPA single hopped with Nelson Sauvin (NZ) 7.1% ABV on tap in Edinburgh brewpub.
A- caramel nut colour, good clarity, really solid lacing and film, strong carbonation.
S- aged lemon, leafy, tropical mangoes, some caramel roasty malt, great balance.
T- hoppy, fruity coffee, tropical pineapple sweetness, aftertaste is dry, slightly herbal, pine note, nice complexity.
M- nice dry finish, moderate soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel but a decent balance, oily hopiness, really drinkable.
Overall, a bit hop heavy but a really nice showcasing IPA, could be more balanced but really good. Nice delicious flavour, with enough malt to hold it together.

Thick head, hazy, orange hued copper.
The aroma is like a yeasty sourdough starter with fruity and earthy hops.
Sweet, fruity, earthy. Brown sugar, apples, honey, grapefruit and grass. Sweet biscuit toward the end with a bitter hop aftertaste. Lighter than one would expect but the mouthfeel goes well with the mix of flavors. It's a tasty beer and interesting for an IPA.

Testing this beer well chilled, poured from a bottle into a shaker glass.
A: A slight turbid, dark yellow beer, creating a pretty thick and foamy head when poured into the glass. When twirling the glass a lot of small bubbles appears beneath the foamy head telling you there should be plenty of carbonation going on in here.
S: A very hoppy smell appears at first, then turning into a little sweeter malty tones after a while.
T: The taste differs somewhat from the smell. The fruity bitter tones found in the smell can't be found tasting it, it's more of a after-bitter taste. I did expect a more balanced bitterness from the beginning to the end.
M: The long lasting bitterness is real nice. I did though expect a more bubbly&sizzling feeling from the appearance of this beer.
O: A powerful IPA loaded with nice bitterness. The downsides i find is that it is not that well balanced as i did expect, neither the bubbly&sizzling mouthfeel i get from the appearance of it.

A clear amber brew, an off-white head leaving good lacing, some curtains.
The smell is fruity, red apples, peaches, grass.
Starting sweet, sugar coated bread, dried apples and peaches, a grassy bitterness.
Medium carbonation, foamy bubbles, a long dry finish.
Very sweet and fruity, and bitter in a good balance.
