Pours deep amber with a large head.
Very fruity aroma, with tangerine, peach, orange blossom and pineapple along with a lot of sweet-smelling crystal malt and cookie dough characters.
Very similar flavours in terms of fruity hops, but some pine is added to the mix. Again, a fair bit of sweet malt too.
Perhaps a little over-carbonated.

The colour is gold with a tint of brown, the liquid is clear. The finger thick head is off-white and compact. It leaves some lacing.
The smell is dull. Notes of meadow and grass. Lemon peels and fish shop.
The taste is raw with dome astringent dry hop flavours. Raisins and rowanberries. Gooseberry jam. Somewhat perfumed tart notes. The aftertaste is a bit jagged with some creamy notes and hints of pine. The finish is a bit sweet.
The carbonation is smooth, the many bubbles small. The liquid is smooth.
I reviewed it together with the three other IPA Is Dead ales, and this one was the hardest to understand or grasp. I didn’t like it, frankly.

Pours cloudy amber - head fizzes and dies. Spotty lace.
Aromas of citrus - mainly pineapple. Not sharp.
Taste is full bodied and complex for one hop. Citrus in mix, caramel hints, and a slighty earthy note complements to give a full rich flavour. No one flavour can be said to dominate.
Mouthfeel nicely carnonated, medium bodied.
Best of the IPA is Dead series.
(Review and taste buds muddled on re-read due to tasting two beers side by side. Mistake)

Since i dont really know or have tasted this hop i thought id save it til last and it pours hazy golden amber hue which leaaves a two finger head that stays and clingy lacing evrywhere, the smell is pineapple, mangoes, melons, paw paw and bubblegum very tropical indeed, the mouthfeel is medium bodied and nicely carbonated with tastes of pineapple, melons, paw paw, mango, mandarins, boiled candy, lemon zest and finished with a bubblegum bitterness and overall i really like this hop i didnt really know that much about it but after tasting this im looking forwards to seeing it used more as its very tropical and fruity, best of the IPA is dead four pack without doubt cheers.

The beer is almost clear amber, small bubbles, an off-white head with some lacing, but rather good curtains.
The smell has pine, lemon, black currant and some grass..
The taste is rather sweet, toffee and bread, some black currant, grass and nettles.
Medium low carbonation, soft and oily, a good body, a slow dry finish.
A nice grape-fruity and sweet perky single hop.

Tihs is one of four I'm reviewing from the second 4-pack single hop AIPAs called IPA is dead. I'm gonig to review them side by side.
A: Pours copper with some small bubbles. The medium large tan head leaves nice lacings.
S: Sweet caramell malt with lots of floral and also some bitter hops (in this case HBC). Nettles, elderberries and lemon sezt together with pineapple.
T: Sweet caramell malts, rich bitter hops and rich nettles and elderberries. Also some lemon sezt.
M: Aftertaste is rather short with nice bitterness. Body is medium while carbonation is moderate.
O: A nice AIPA. The Single hopping makes it less complex. But of the four this is the best one.

330ml bottle. ½ Pint glass. Enjoyed on may´12. Gold in color, clear appearance. Off-white froth, close crown fades leaving collars & rings on sides. Deep piney & resiny aromas. Pungent hops , grapefruit & tangerine touches. Maltiness slightly smooths flavors just a little. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation. Fruity finish & aftertaste, refreshing bitterness. Soft astringency with subtle underliying citric sweetness. Easy drinkability.

Opened this for Queen's day since the label is orange (as good of an excuse as any, right?)
Orange in colour with a small tan head that quickly fades to a thin film on the beer that still leaves a good amount of lacing around the glass.
Very fruity smell, pineapple, melon and some tangerine. Alongside the fruit are some earthy tones and caramel sweetness. No real citrusy smells in there which makes it smell sweeter and fruitier than your average IPA.
There is a lot of watermelon in the taste with pear, tangerine and other fruity flavours around it, almost like a fresh fruit salad with a punch of hoppy bitterness and a slight caramel sweetness.
Medium body and a lot of carbonation, a bit too much for the beer.
This beer is all about showing off the hops and I really like these hops, a perfect beer to cool down with on a hot day and I for one hope that Brewdog will keep on brewing this for a long time.

Clear golden amber colour with a smooth, creamy, light tan head. Fair head retention. Good lacing.
Really quite odd for an American hop. Plenty of earth, hard fruits, melon and caramel. No where near as citrussy and bright as one would expect.
Much punchier than in the aroma there are nice pear, melon and light stone fruit notes. Almost a hint of passionfruit but there is more honeydew and canteloupe. Good bitterness but this is all about hop flavour.
Medium body with moderately-high carbonation. Almost a touch astringent.
A truly remarkable hop is shown off in this beer. It is more Kiwi and British than most American hops with hefty doses of melon and hard fruits rather than grapefruit, pine and orange. Really quite like it.
