Pours very hazy light yellow, one finger white head that leaves tons of traces as it subsides to a small lacing.
Tasty hops in the smell, floral and fruity, enhanced by the Belgian yeasts, so nice citrus, some pineapple, apple, pear, lime and faint peach. Some honey and bready malts too.
Taste has a short sweet flash, be careful or you might miss it (apricot, honey, tangerine), green apple acidity, unrripe grapes, followed quick by strong grapefruit, and it's all bitter from here on. You can hardly get some spices and biscuity malts under all the hoppiness. Big perfumey flowers, aromatic herbs, big grassy bitterness that blows up in the finish, really dry and rough. Not too clean either, there's some dry tobacco and a bit of earthiness.
Medium body and carbonation. Not much left in the aftertaste but a huge bitter feel. Unfortunately you carry it on till you drink again, and the fruitiness gets harder and harder to detect.
I expected hops, but this felt way too unbalanced. And i actually like hop-punches. Something was off.

A- Pours a hazy orangey yellow hue with a small, off white head.

S- Lemon, wheat, pepper.

T- Grassy, hints of pepper, wheat, lingering bitterness.

M- Medium bodied and silky with high carbonation.

D- Decently drinkable. There's something on the back end of the flavor that's really throwing me off that I can't put my finger on.

Poured into a Gulden Draak tulip. Pours a slightly hazy, medium golden amber with a massive four finger white head with good retention and thick sheets of lacing. Aroma of mild bready malt, clove, light lemon citrus, mixed light fruit, spicy. Flavor is citrus, grapefruit rind, apple and pear juice, clove and light grassy hops. Finishes semi-dry with a mildly funky yeast that leans towards a saison style, interesting lingering grassy hop and clove bitterness. Medium bodied. A pleasant and not typical Belgian pale. Finishes drier and hoppier than its brethren. The flavors are somewhat subtle, but nicely complex. Interesting finish that I looked forward to in each sip.

330ml bottle served in and ordinary glass.
Bought during a business trip in Luxembourg in one of the best beershops I've ever visited, the Mi-Orge Mi-Houblon in Arlon - Belgium (http://miorgemihoublon.be)

Bottled in December, 19th of 2013.
Enjoyed @ a hotel room in Luxembourg :/

A: Pours a nice orange cloudy forming a big and solid creamy white head. Excellent retention and lots of soapy and lingering lacings left in the glass

S: Fresh flowery hops in the nose. Citric hops profile. Notes of orange, orange zest and bready yeasts. Sweet grains. Reminds me a good American Pale Ale but with Belgian yeasts profile

T: Great hops profile. Dry and bitter. Sweet pale malts. Fruity with notes of orange and orange zest. Huge hops bitter end... Great

M: Light to medium body. Citrus hops bitter aftertaste

O: Excellent drinkability. Great surprise. Excellent Ale that I really recommend

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden amber color with a 2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, pear, apricot, apple, white grape, bread, light honey, clove, pepper, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy/spicy yeast and malt notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, pear, apricot, apple, white grape, bread, light honey, clove, light pepper, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Slight earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, apricot, white grape, clove, bread, light honey, herbal, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity of fruity/earthy yeast and malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast flavor balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and fairly crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice Belgian pale ale! All around good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast and malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to sip on. A very enjoyable offering.

330ml bottle, de struise glass

Bright orange body, fully creamy head with strong retention, decent amount of residual sediment in the bottle. Nice citrus notes, moderate bitterness, clementine, yeast, oily herbal hops. This is tasty stuff - would tick again

Poured a cloudy orangish gold body with large head due to carbonation that took a little bit to die down but when it did there was clingy lace everywhere. An aroma of tropical fruit like orange, mango, citric notes and pear as well with a touch of sour spice. Light bodied, easy to drink, smooth, carbonation gives sharpness and crisp finish, a mostly sweet ale with the tropical sweet fruit notes shining through and a little bit of sugary malts and spice. Good balance, simple beer, a treat to enjoy.

Pours a nice straw yellow color, with a white head. Very rich aroma for such a light beer (citrus and spices). Flavor is very refreshing, to the hoppy side with hints of citrus again. Light and easily digestible beer, but still with a very strong flavor.

The beer pours a hazy, golden-orange with a huge head of small bubbles that erupt into a more rocky terrain as they climb higher and higher above the beer. The head sits about two finger’s widths above the glass with excellent retention. When the head does go, it leaves a fat cloud of puffy lacing along the glass. In body, the beer is a nice hazy murk with no trace of floating particles. I poured the yeast in with this beer for added flavor, but it did appear rather clear before I dumped the yeast. On the nose, the beer smells of honey and hay. Grassy hops kick just a touch of citric lemon grass and there is also a whisper of funk can also be sensed. All the while, malt provides beautifully creamy honey nuances to the nose. I do also detect a touch of skunk, which is expected in a hoppier import, but does not take away from the rich smells of the beer. On the tongue, the beer tastes honey-sweet and grassy-bitter. The bitter tend more towards the middle and second half of the sip, while the sweetness begins and finishes the beer. Light acidity does interact with the other tastes, and an herbal bitterness works its way in beside the grassy bitters. In flavor, the beer begins as smooth honey malt with a touch of bread. This transitions into rich grassy bitters with nuances of herbal mint. The finish is strong with rich honey flavors drizzled over light toast with a healthy wallop of grass and hay. The aftertaste is decidedly of bitter mint with just a wisp of lingering honey. In the mouth, the beer feels on the light side of medium in body with a crisp yet smooth mouthfeel that gives a nice little tug at the tongue, but doesn’t overdo it. Carbonation is a little higher than middling, providing a nice scrub to the tongue. After the beer leaves, the mouth is left with a slight bit of spittle and a touch of astringency on the middle of the tongue, but an overall feeling of cleanness. As a whole, the beer is quaffable and subtly complex with some great grassy hop character and superb honey malt. This beer is just a great classic beer with superb honey malts and a nice European hop bite. I could have a few and be happy. I like it.
