P- Thanks to my buddy Matt
A- a nice deep dark amber color. A huge foamy 4 finger head that takes forever to dissipate. The head is on of the best i have seen. Looks like whipped cream.
S- strong pine/resin smell at first but then there comes some citrus notes, a tart lemon. toffee malts come thru on the backend as well. very nice.
F- the pine comes thru strong in the flavor. It overwhelms everything else noted before. I do gather the citrus but the toffee/cramel malt is lost.
M- quite dry like an IPA should be. Not too watered down and the flavors are captured in the mouth.
O- A decent IPA. I was never a huge fan until about a year and half ago and this ranks as one of the great IPA's i have had. The citrus could come out more in the flavor.

16 oz. can into a nonic pint glass.
A: Pours a clear amber with a nice two finger frothy white head that fades to a delicate lace on the sides of the glass.
S: Malty up front with caramel sweetness, but also touches of citrus and some piney hops.
T: Nice citrus with orange and grapefruit balanced with pine and earthy bitterness. The malt isn't as strong as I expected as the hops take over.
M: Medium bodied and smooth with a nice crisp bitterness. Goes down easily.
O: Really solid beer...definitely more IPA than Imperial ESB but solid nonetheless!
