A - Solid black/brown with no light penetration. 2-finger, creamy cappuccino head. Solid lacing as the head dies down. This beer is a pleasure to pour.
S - Mostly coffee, with hints of lactose.
T - The lactose becomes more present at first, then rounds out into coffee and oatmeal. It's almost like having sour milk in your coffee, but it tastes much better than it sounds.
M - Medium-light. A lot smoother than I expected from the appearance.
O - This is not a complex beer, but the flavors that are present are well-rounded and very enjoyable. It's become my go-to stout when I want something familiar and available.

A: The beer is very close to being near black in color; slight traces of red are only evident near the edges of the glass when it is held up to a bright light. It poured with a half finger high dense tan head that took a long time to fade away and left a thick collar around the edge of the glass.
S: There are light aromas of lactose in the nose.
T: Like the smell, the taste is dominated by flavors of lactose and also has some notes of milk chocolate and hints of sweetness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied, smooth and a quite creamy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink and quite sessionable.

Don't get a chance to try too many new milk stouts. This is a pretty good one, I'll say. Smooth delivery and feel with a flavor profile that fits the bill for the style. Not the most aggressive characteristics on the flavor, but all the lactic and stout tones are there. A real easy drinker.

Appearance: dark brown in color with 1 inch head, clear, moderate-high carbonation
Smell: big oats and coffee
Taste: oats, black coffee, and dark chocolate
Mouthfeel: medium-heavy body, moderate carbonation, sweet with slight roasty bitterness
Drinkability: A solid, clean, oatmeal/sweet stout. The sweetness comes through but is never overly seet. Glad I picked up a four pack. I could have several of these.

A: Pours an opaque jet black in color with some hints of very dark brown when held up to the light (though there is very light penetration by the light). The beer has a two finger tall dark mocha head that slowly reduces and condenses to a quarter finger tall layer covering the entire surface of the beer evenly. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of dark roasted and charred malts. There is a light amount of milk chocolate sweetness and just a touch of coffee.
T: The flavor of this beer starts out with a moderate amount of dark roasted and charred malts with very little bitterness. After that, there is a flavor of chocolate milk with some light notes of freshly brewed coffee.
M: On the lighter side of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Creamy but somehow a little thin/watery.
O: This beer seems like it would be amazing in nitro-cans or on nitro-tap (just the right body/mouthfeel that the nitro would be a pleasant edition). Very easy to drink and very enjoyable - I might even consider this one a sessionable stout which I do not find a lot of beers which qualify.
