Notes/Commercial Description:
We love this beer here at the brewery, and think you will have one of those “I’ve never-tasted-a-beer-like-that” kind of moments when you try it!

What we really like about this beer is the smoothness that brewing with cream sugar brings to the palate. This smoothness balances out the copious quantities of roasted barley used in the brewing process to create a rich, complex, and delicious beer. If you have not been a stout drinker in the past, give this beer a try. It might just change your mind about how dark beers should taste. It tastes so rich, but is surprisingly easy to drink!

Appearance: Pours fudge brown with ruby highlights; the head is reasonably impressive and leaves some splashy lace

Smell: Milk chocolate, sweet cream and a hint of vanilla

Taste: Much like the aroma, the milk chocolate and sweet cream flavors lead off and never relent; in the middle, the vanilla forces its way into the picture, as well

Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation; gets creamier as it warms

Overall: Pleasant enough but a bit too sweet; not something I would want to drink in any quantity

Oily, black brew with a dark, tan head, quickly fading. Thin but nice lacing.

Mild, watery stout aroma. Hint of chocolate and grapes.

Smooth and sweet flavor: milk, chocolate, sugar and cream. Powdered chocolate and cocoa linger on the tongue. Wheat and oatmeal. Every single flavor comes out stronger, cleaner, and smoother as the beer warms.

Once the beer gets down to just a hair above room temperature, the mouthfeel settles down nicely into a thick, chewy, cloying experience. No sting, no unpleasant aftertaste.

This was a surprisingly good, and very smooth, stout; as a bonus, it clocks in at only 5%.

Thanks to LambicPentameter for giving this as an extra in a trade.
Poured from 16oz can into a stemless wineglass, drink by 12/05/13

A- Dark brown almost black with a medium tan head that dissipated quickly into a ring.

S- Coffee with a chocolate sweetness.

T- Getting a lot of tobacco, with some roast acidity and a pleasant coffee after taste.

M- Medium mouthfeel a bit heavy for a 5% ABV beer.

O- This beer has a great aroma that really reminded me of Founders Breakfast stout. So I was a bit disappointed when the taste did not match it. Too much tobacco for me and really reminded me of the way an ashtray smells. The finish was quite pleasant however.
