Notes/Commercial Description:
We love this beer here at the brewery, and think you will have one of those “I’ve never-tasted-a-beer-like-that” kind of moments when you try it!

What we really like about this beer is the smoothness that brewing with cream sugar brings to the palate. This smoothness balances out the copious quantities of roasted barley used in the brewing process to create a rich, complex, and delicious beer. If you have not been a stout drinker in the past, give this beer a try. It might just change your mind about how dark beers should taste. It tastes so rich, but is surprisingly easy to drink!

Pretty tasty, the classic chocolate/coffee feel you get out of most stouts, a nice creaminess to this one as well. One thing though, this is a bit thin and watery...probably because of the low ABV of 5%. This beer would be so much better as an imperial if such a thing existed (maybe someday).

A lot of Tallgrass fans, which I absolutely am, swear by this beer as their favorite from this great brewery, I am not one of them. A nice beer, but just not enough body in my humble opinion for me to give this as outstanding rating. To date, I think Tallgrass' Pale Ale (8-bit) and their IPAs (Ethos and Oasis) are better. Don't get me wrong, the taste itself is great, the whole minus here is the fact that the overall body is thin.. perhaps a bit more of a transitional stout.

App. - Dark brown pour with a two and a half thick brown head on top. The head quickly dissipated into a froth that sat right on top. Little to no lacing was present

Smell - Little bit of coffee, but not much else. Underwhelming but still smells pretty good!

Taste - Lots of coffee in here and pretty sweet. Tastes pretty darn good!

Mouth. - Pretty velvety with a thick accent to it. Feels great!

Over. - I thoroughly enjoyed this brew. Pretty meh as far as a milk stout is concerned, but I will say this, it makes a great beer shake!
