The pour is a classic hazy amber, White cloudy head that faces to a petri dish sample before eventually dissipating completely.
Nose is a beautiful balance of piney hops and honey sweet malt. So delicious.
Once it hits your lips its more of the same. A blunt earthy dankness hits up front but its calmed by the voices in the background whispering sweet backbone. The finish blends these seemingly incongruous characters into a buddy cop movie with a feel good bittersweet ending.
Seek this out. I only wish it came in bottles so I could save the label

Great art on this can. Comes in a tallboy so there’s more to enjoy! Thanks to a (non-BA) buddy for passing this my way.
This pouts a pale golden in color with some nice foaming that leaves clouds as it dies down
It has a nicely understated aroma that’s citrusy with a light spice. By itself the aroma isn't much but the flavor is just fantastic—it’s light, crisp and hoppy, with a lemony lime zest and a touch of pineapple with a hint of resin backed by a gentle malt that keeps the hops in check. Finishes clean and clear. It’s good.

I originally wasn't going to give this beer a full review but after I tasted it I changed my mind.
I didn't get a chance to pour this beer but I have it a 5 because the can is bad ass.
Smell is nice and this begins why I decided to actually review this beer. It's the most unique pale ale I've had so far. TEA. Deginite green or light tea in the nose. A bit of grapefruit or pineapple in the nose.
Taste it sweet malt up front. Tea settles in te middle of the flavor and then some citrus and pine hit on the aftertaste. Very refreshing.
Mouthfeel is refreshing. Nice carbonation. Not too thin.
This is one of the most unique tasting beers I've had. Definitely worth the try. Pick it up if you can.

Appearance: Pours with a light head. Good lacing on the sides of the glass at each level. Average to above average carbonation active in the glass while drinking. Some brunt orange accents with a pretty golden colored brew.
Smell: This aroma is filled with bubble gum, straw, molasses, and cane sugar. The sugary sweetness jumps out right away on the nose. A caramelized sugary tone really dominates in a very delicious way. A solid yeast backbone keeps the aroma balanced.
Taste: The gummy sugary tones hit the palate right away. Bright hops continue to ride through the body of the beer. The straw and grassy tones kick in on the body as well which balanced out this APA after the front. A caramel and molasses finish really round out an outstanding APA.
Mouthfeel: Sweet hops with bright malt texture.
Overall: I loved this great example of a very bright and hoppy APA. I could drink this all day. I have never seen this side of galaxy hops before, much less palate attacking and drying then I remember previously. Well done with this one Tallgrass.
