I go here often, it's atomosphere is one of business after hours. Most Thursdays and Friday nights there is live music. The beer selection is nothing crazy but above average especially for SC, quite a few english imports and some other good craft brews such as Bear Republic, Sweetwater, Hook & Ladder, to name a few. They usually have 2-3 high graivty usually one is a Chimay and then two others that rotate. Ask your server or bartender what's new that may not be on the list. I've found that they usually have things that haven't been listed or that they are trying out. The bartenders know their beer as well as management. The food is very good as well.

Was passing through Greenville and stopped overnight. Had brunch before hitting the road. Steak & eggs were pretty good and cooked exactly the way I ordered. Topped off meal with a Highland Oatmeal Porter. Nice place. 40 beers on tap covering most major styles. If I'm back in town I will definitely stop back.

Visited May 2011

I visited the establishment twice during my stay in Greenville, once for dinner on a Sunday night and once on a Thursday due to a rain delay at the ballpark next door. The vibe of the place was decent for a Sunday night, but on the Thursday night, it was packed too loud and frankly not all that enjoyable to be at. The establishment had a pretty decent selection on tap, never really bothered to see what they had in a bottle, and the beer that I ordered seemed fresh and the carbonation was right. But I must say that from what I can remember, they didn't have anything outside of what you would expect. Seemed like stuff that I could get my hands on from any number of places. The service was average at best, nothing outstanding to note, nothing really all that bad to note either. The food was average at best. Overall, the place was decent, but not a must stop.

Dropped in last night for the first time in awhile for a few brews. The atmosphere of this location is quite nice and relaxed. It can get hectic sometimes. This mostly occurs when the Greenville Drive are playing as the stadium is right next to this location. The service has always been quite good, as has the food. Beer selection is okay, but nothing to brag about. Overall this is a pretty nice place to go and grab some food and a brew before/after a Drive game. Or even if you are just looking for somewhere new to try.

The food is considerably better than the beer selection. I strugled to find something interesting on the tap list and settled for Rogue Dead Guy. With all the good beer coming into the upstate, they can do better. Maybe they are not trying to compete with other establishments on this. 40 or so drafts, total, with few (or maybe no) macros.

Good place to watch a game with the TV's in the bar.

The foor really is very good. Seared tuna sandwich and salad are particulary good. So are the chicken nachos. All in all, not a bad place to go for a meal.

I didnt realize this place was so close to the baseball stadium downtown. This would be a great place to enjoy a few beers before or after a Greenville Drive game. I will certainly keep that in mind next May.

Very similar to the Liberty Taproom in Columbia. About 30 taps but nothing really spectacular. Average run on the mill stuff. They did have some Hop Devil which was nice.

Staff was courteous and attentive. The food was pretty good, although I only got a salad. A good place to go after work and as mentioned, a good spot before a baseball game (probably). I will be back next spring.

So I finally get to review this place. It is relatively new downtown, only opening in the last few months or so. They do have a decent seletion of about 40 taps or so, most of which are imports or local brews. Nothing really extrordinary but still not too bad for SC. They had lots of English brands which you do not normally see. Food was really actually quite good and I managed to make it in when it was slow and the atmosphere was nice. It is more of a sports bar kinda place so I would think it gets quite packed later on. Overall though it seemed more then decent and if Barleys was closed for some reason I would prbably go back. Not a bad stop, but Barleys andMellow Muushroom are right up the road for a better beer selection, though the food was very good.
