Almost translucent golden-amber in color (exactly the color of the amber stone in Jurassic park from which they extracted dinosaur DNA). Thick ribbed lacing smothers the rim
Smells sweet and juicy. Orange, cherry and RASPBERRY. Blueberry too. Oh sweet delicious hops, how you turn me on Its like a psychoactive is messing with my receptors and Im visualizing the smell as giant slices of swollen red grapefruit. Damn.
Taste is nice and tart. Its almost a little dusty, and seems like its dry-hopped, as a slightly dry residue is left in my mouth. The flavor pretty damn smooth, and fairly well-balanced with the crazy hops dancing around on a solid malt foundation. I would go so far to describe the flavor as round.
It has a solid medium mouthfeel: quite viscous for an IPA, but the weight is welcomed. The carbonation is small yet rippy. It has a generally crisp finish, but clearly my palette was recently inundated by hops.
Serving type: on-tap
