Nutty, malty aroma...

I had this on tap at the Gingerman the other day. I was intrigued by the "obergariges" which means top fermenting in German. The fermenation is done in cold temperatures. As always, I enjoy taking in a local beer not far from where it was brewed.
A: Poured into a pint glass to show off clear with amber hue with a finger plus white as a sheet head. Average lacing and respectable retention.
S: The nose gave off some sweety Vienna malts and german noble hops but all at a restrained action which i reckon was the brewmasters intent.
T: Quite sweet, from the malts. Elements of toasted bread but very weak in overall strenght. Lots of floral accents which were to pronounced. Balance is good for what is contained in this beer.
M: Very light and for a time I thought there was a chewy aspect but then changed my mind.
D: Nothing to write home about. Good session beer no doubt but on the weak side of the Marzen category in my book.
