Poured into a standard pint glass a burnt orange infused dull golden with a sticky half finger white head atop.Floral hops and orange zest with a bit toasted malts in the nose.Citrusy hops but not bitter by any means over top of lightly toasted bready malts on the palate.Doesn't seem to be as big as it is flavor-wise or in the feel.Solid. (340 characters)

12oz can poured into Blue Mountain can-glass

A- pours a clear golden color with a small creamy white head that retains long after the pour, with carbonation bubbles continuously shooting to the top

S- earthy and piney hop aroma up front, orange runt candy & grapefruit peel, sugar coated dried orange, light sugary malt

T- big shot of juicy orange flavor up front, quickly followed by piney & earthy hops, faint underlying sweet malt allows the hops to shine, orange peel/zest proves refreshing finish

M- medium body and carbonation leads to a creamy mouthfeel that continues through to the finish, high drinkability

O- very refreshing IPA that goes down very easy for 7%, hopefully this will be available in the summer (726 characters)

A shout out to the engineer of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has an orange/golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is surprisingly of caramel malts, oranges are present as well. Taste is well balanced hops and malts, oranges, a bit of mint. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall a smooth and easy drinking beer. (359 characters)

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

A two and a half finger off tan head, almost yellow banana in color with decent retention and staying power. It sits on a bright and solid orange amber body color, slighly clear and with a decent amount of fine pinhead carbonation up the middle.

Aroma definitely comes up orange fruity, but not so much hop forward. Hints towards light toast and biscuit like malts as well, with a sense of light caramel sweetness in the back. There's a spicy herbality almost grass like hinting in the back on the hop angle also. Pretty solid and straightforward aroma.

Palate is a bit interesting. Light bodied juicy with a nice soft malty sweetness at first. Orange fruit comes in with a light green and minty mid palate. Finishes herbal and mouthwashing pine on the aftertaste as well. Good solid depth to this, and the orange accents a little sweetness as well.

Overall pretty solid fruited IPA, with a simple profile. Not one for the hopheads though, but makes a good contrast and accent. (1,038 characters)

Golden to verging on orange with a 2 finger off white head that leaves attractive lacing.

The aroma is of grassy/piney hops with orange and orange peel. Refreshing.

Taste of bitter hops set off by llight pine and floral aromatics, with a substantial accent of orange. Probably the best tasting orange beer I've sampled.

Light in body, but still a light syrupy coating. Crisp with moderate carbonation. A little drying. Slight warmth of alcohol, but the alcohol is well hidden. Fairly easy drinking.

I really like this beer. I hope it's still available later this year, I imagine an orange flavored IPA would make for a great summer brew. (646 characters)

12oz can into my Dogfish glass.

A: Pours a somewhat hazy light copper with 1/2" white head that recedes kind of quickly. Retention isn't bad, lacing is so-so.

S: Pretty bright citrus notes along with a subtle but detectable meaty orange. A hint of biscuity malt. Smells mild, but nice & juicy.

T: Understated. Orange/lime peel open up leading into a fairly bitter mid palate, balanced by very mild maltiness. Tiny hints of pepper go into a surprisingly rich, off-sweet finish.

M: Moderate carb married to what I'd call a slightly too heavy, syrupy malt body. Despite itself, it manages to finish fairly crisply.

O: Thoroughly average. (650 characters)
