I don't see a date listed on the can.

Appearance: The body is hazy with a slightly dark shade of amber. There are numerous tiny particles suspended in the beer. The head is short, fluffy, and white with decent retention and lacing.

Aroma: The beer has a nice orange aroma with a bit of pine coming through at the end. There is a touch of garlic as the nose pulls away.

Taste: Up front there is a nice fresh grain flavor. This flavor persists throughout the drinking experience. It is followed by a grapefruit pulp flavor and a touch of lemon and mint at the end.

Mouthfeel: It has a nice moderate bitterness but it feels a bit too thick and chewy for the citrus character. It has good carbonation.

Overall: It's a nice and refreshing IPA with a bit of a citrus edge. The orange character mostly comes through in the aroma and presumably the bitterness. It would make for a good cookout or picnic beer. Being that it's in a can it would be nice during a camp-out or even by the beach. I would drink it again every now and then.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a pint glass. Nice color with a good foamy head that dissipated rapidly. I had a hard time tasting any orange flavor at all. Not one of my favorite orange infused IPA's.

An attractive 12 ounce can, poured into a Jester King Snörkel glass.

Appearance: Hazy, deep gold, with one finger of aromatic head. Small amounts of orange pulp can be seen with a swirl - a promising sign for an infused brew.

Smell: A mild hoppy smell, mixed with fresh-squeezed oranges.

Taste: Tart citrus and fruit flavor, with orange, tangerine and apricot notes at the fore. The hops are flavorful, but mellow, and the bitterness is quite mild, with a sweet malt taste coming through in the finish. This is a very refreshing and sessionable IPA, perfect for summer.

Mouthfeel: A bit on the thin side, but very pleasing. The citrus adds a bit of acidity and bite that I find rather pleasant, balancing out the sweetness.

Overall: A delicious, creamy IPA, that drinks easy. Kind of wish I bought a six pack, as they probably won't bring these back until next summer, but now I know what to look for. Good stuff.
