Classic Lager has a thick, white head and a somewhat hazy, bubbly light gold, with almost no lacing. The aroma is of sourdough bagel and a touch of grass. The flavor is of white bread crust and grassy hop bitterness. The body is medium, and Classic Lager finishes crisp.

Part of a flight of 10 at the brewery. Pours a light straw color, with a thin off-white head. Initial impression is mild straw hops over biscuity malt - well balanced but not particularly flavorful. Mouthfeel is smooth and slightly heavier than I would have expected for a lager. Finish is quite smooth. Not bad, but not exciting either.

Had on tap at the Blue Mountain Barrelhouse. Golden, amber, if not a bit orange colored. Smells very light and like cereal grains. Tastes unassuming but pleasant. Feels medium bodied, not heavy but not as light as the average AAL of course. Overall it's a good beer that has its place.
EDIT: Updating my review like 4 years later. Had it again. It was really good and solid. Not sure why I praised it so much before and yet gave it a low score. Bringing it up from 3.25.

Just a nice solid lager. It has everything you'd want in a lager, easy to drink, pleasant taste, nice mouth feel. I've had it both bottled and from the tap. Balanced flavor, never overpowering, and goes well with most meals. Certainly a nice beer to drink while grilling dinner or sitting around a fire pit. Remains a regular in my cabinet.

This is called a "classic lager" on the label and that's exactly what it is. No frills, just pure clean fresh lager taste. Those looking for unusual additions or spoiled by novelty might overlook this beer, or rate it lower, but it is true to style and delivers what it promises. Golden color with white or slightly off-white head, moderately good size though not too durable. Clean hops over malt nose, could be bigger, but balanced. Taste is straightforward malt with hops obvious but never out of place. Clean mouthfeel.

A clear golden yellow. Little to no head, but some lacing. Active bubbles.
Smells faintly grassy.
Tastes grassy and sharp. Mildly stringent and bitter, but not a hop bitterness. Mellows some to a biscuity, yeasty finish.
Light in body. Tingly.
