Picked this up at the grocery store, in a make your own 6 pack.

Served in a bottle so hard to judge appearance.

Smell was not that great maybe even a little skunky

This beer was like the tale of two beers, initially when I first took a drink it was overally bitter, and left a horrid after taste. However the subsequent tastes where very enjoyable, with good even flavoring, and little to no harsh after taste or bit as it was on the first taste.

Over all I like this beer, but will probably not have it again unless it is offered to me. It is nothing spectacular just a solid beer that is worth trying but now that I have had it probably wont purchase again.

Crystal clear and golden to tawny orange in color. A 1 1/2 finger off white head and light lacing.l Decent carbonation.

Rich sweet malt and herbal/grassy hops in the aroma. A bit of earthiness seems almost doughy.

Primarily sweet malt upfront with light grassy hops and faint bitterness. Light citrus lays on the tongue.

Medium bodied and crisp leaving a light syrupy coating.

An easy drinker and rather sessionable. A nice light offering suitable for the season.

First had: on tap at Blue Mountain, Afton, VA

Light straw-yellow color, clear and bubbly, with a thin white head. Light grassy aroma, thin pale malts. Taste of pale malts, lightly toasted grains, crisp but timid grassy hops, lager yeast. A pretty standard Euro lager here, good, if that's your bag. Light body, slightly bitter in the aftertaste. An easy drinker, but not exactly my style.
