Had this on-tap at the Brewpub on 6/23/12.
A - Copper color with a light white head. Lots of lacing that sticks even after I've drained the glass. 4.5
S - Very hoppy with a tinge of floral aroma and malt. 4.0
T - Well-balanced hop and malt flavor at the front; continues to a more floral hop flavor than malt at the end (though it is still very well balanced). 4.0
M - Medium bodied with a little carbonation. Gives a nice tingle across the middle of the tongue but doesn't affect the overall flavor. 4.0
O - This was a pretty darn good beer. I wasn't crazy about the flavor but that may have been a matter of personal taste rather than how Full Nelson compares to other beers of the same style. I think it's a great example of an American Pale Ale and I'm proud of another Virginia brewery stepping up and asserting itself out there! 4.5

The best thing about this beer is the appearance. It has a nice crystal clear deeper amber color with a nice beige head to match. Light carbonation.
The aroma was light and lean.
The taste is good but also lean with hardly any flavor.
Needs some work in my opinion.
