This beer reminds me of Schneider Hopfenweiss. Its has the same orange-ish tinge and cloudyness, with a heavy dose of citrus/piney hops. It's uncanny. When I picked this one up off the shelf I wasn't expecting this at all. Great beer. I will DEFINITELY buy this one again. Incredibly bitter, with a fair amount of grapefruit flavour. The smell is a perfect example of how to dry-hop your beer. Almost no malt to speak of, but I find that makes this an even better example of the style.

L: Crystal clear gold with tinges of amber a thin head on top. Decent lacing and very little carbonation activity.
A: Floral hop aroma of grapefruit rind, peach and some pine with a clean, nutty maltiness backing it. Classic Amercian IPA.
T: A smooth bitterness upfront, moves into hop flavors of grapefruit and peach with some spicy and piney earthiness. The malt brings in fantastic balance to the hop flavors, helping give a backbone to the beer and really increase the drinkability. A medium body provides a great base for the flavors and the hops and slightly bisciuty malt flavors linger on with a dry finish.
Overall, a top-tier Northwest IPA. The flavors are bold and perfectly balanced, and the beer is unbelievably drinkable. This is a must try.
