Much thanks to PDXHops
A - Moderate amber color. Pale & cloudy. Poured a ¼ inch & thins to a large clump of top bubbles. There's a bit of lace at the start & remains spotty throughout
S - Spicy hop aroma with citrusy goodness aplenty. Juicy grapefruit elements with solid notes of pine, too. A faint breadiness is largely obscured by hop splendor. Hints of orange & pineapple become apparent as the beer warms.
T - Good grief this is spicy to the utmost degree; it has some serious teeth about it. Vibrant bitterness chock full of citrus & pine. The Amarillo hops are bombastic. What seems to be a dry maltiness lingers in the shadows but in all actuality the taste is the nose to the 10th power.
M - Medium-bodied with ample carbonation that most righteously stimulates the taste buds. While I've never done it, I imagine this is similar to sticking a lit 4th of July sparkler in your mouth.
D - Freaking awesome; this beer is out of control tasty!

L: Crystal clear gold with tinges of amber a thin head on top. Decent lacing and very little carbonation activity.
A: Floral hop aroma of grapefruit rind, peach and some pine with a clean, nutty maltiness backing it. Classic Amercian IPA.
T: A smooth bitterness upfront, moves into hop flavors of grapefruit and peach with some spicy and piney earthiness. The malt brings in fantastic balance to the hop flavors, helping give a backbone to the beer and really increase the drinkability. A medium body provides a great base for the flavors and the hops and slightly bisciuty malt flavors linger on with a dry finish.
Overall, a top-tier Northwest IPA. The flavors are bold and perfectly balanced, and the beer is unbelievably drinkable. This is a must try.
