22 oz bottle with no freshness date that I see, but a reassuring story about how they are saving the planet :( Thanks for the bottle Myke! Poured into my beer goblet drank while eating some burger sliders on wheat buns.
Appearance: A nice looking golden copper color with a compact white head the width of one finger. Wonderful lacing.
Smell: Pine is the dominant hops characteristic. Citrus fruit (oranges, mostly) lingers behind the pine. Nothing from the grain bill in the nose
Taste: A very solid IPA. Balanced hops and body from the beer itself. The hops are prominent with being over bitter. This is a pretty tasty beer. The hops do take front stage here. A tiny bit of alcohol in the taste.
Mouthfeel: Body is big without being syrupy. Flavors coat the mouth very well.
Overall: I like this one quite a bit, and of course wish that I could get it here.

A - Amber leaning toward yellow. Fluffy white head that disappears into nothing.
S - Not much here.
T - Not overly bitter, which is good, but it also doesn't balance out the bitterness is does have with sweetness. It lacks the citrusy hops I want in an IPA.
M - Thin and dry.
O - I won't be buying this one again.

I feel so ashamed! I received a box of CANned beers from msubulldog25 a while back, put them in the reefer to chill and then got bogged down with the school year and a backlog of bottles to the point that people were beginning to wonder what had happened to The CANQuest (TM). Not to worry! I am getting back on track.
From the CAN: "'Do what you CAN'"; "Ride your bike"; "Certified Carbon Neutral"; "Organic Pounder"; "Think-Drink-Smile-Recycle"; "Certified Organic by Oregon TILTH"; "World Class Beer, Sustainably"; "Drink Responsibly".
The Crack revealed yet another brimful CAN and it was time for an inverted Glug! I quickly had two fingers of dense tawny head with excellent retention. Nose smelled like a pine forest in the middle of winter - wintergreen, minty, resinous, cool and my mouth was watering in anticipation. Color was a deep golden-yellow with NE-quality clarity and I was suddenly involved in hand-to-hand combat with King Midas and Croesus to see who got the first sip! I won, thankfully, and the mouthfeel was medium with a more muted mintiness than the nose had led me to expect. It was still quite minty, though, and very refreshing, like having gargled with mouthwash. Finish was semi-dry and lingering with a minty aftertaste. Mmm.
