Service Temperature, 40 degrees. Service Glassware, 3oz Shot Glass.
The ale pours orange with a nice level of clarity. A white medium foam dissipates into a ridge-line of lace lies shortly after it settles.
Under the nose I detect a dance of malt some pine and a subtle floral.
The balance of sweet carmel and some raisin, dances almost intersecting with the hops. Overall Mouthfeel, is medium.
Serving type: on-tap

Handsome rich amber color, clear, with a nice foam in the tall glass. Plenty of carbonation, and a decent beery mouthfeel.
A huge sugary caramel flavor seems to dominate the initial taste, followed by the bitter twang of hops. This is oddly sweet, though it has an interesting spiciness to go with it. Moderate hoppiness with some dank and leafy notes. Some dark medicinal bitterness at the end.
Another organic oddity with a taste of bitter squash soup. Why is alleged organic barley so peculiar? It's OK for some sipping but gets tiresome after a glass. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Wine World and Spirits in north Seattle.
