Pounder can picked up tonight at the COOP... Enjoyed at the wife's office... Pours a clear glowing amber with a great off white head that leaves great lacing. Not as bitter as I expected, but a very balanced hoppiness perfumes the aroma and flavor with PNW hops and is tempered by a biscuity-dry toast maltiness that is surprisingly dry given the malty complexity... Very drinkable with a light/medium body and standard bubble.

Dark copper pour with average head, but more than average lacing. Light malt, toffee aroma. Not the hoppiness you would expect from a pale ale. Taste is more malt, some caramel, mildly sweet, but not hoppy at all. Very close to an amber or brown ale.

A: copper- red. Small, thin head. Nice, sticky lacing.

S: citrus and flowers.

T: caramel malty sweetness. Citrus and grapefruit. There is a hint of chocolate malt.. Pine one finish.

M: medium high carbonation. Medium high body.

O: solid NW red ale. Like it and will purchase again.
