This was the last stop of our first day in Portland, we walked over here about a mile after a fantastic time at Hair of the Dog with Alan, had the sampler set here with ten of their brews including lagers, pale ale, reds, IPAs, porters, etc., and then a pint, can honestly say that all of their beers were above average if not really good, walk in and see a small fridge with their newly bottled brews, walk along the very long bar that is lined with colorful bike frames, really liked the look in here, sat down near the big windows and had a nice view of what was going on outside, all around cool atmosphere, place was immaculate and my buddy could not stop talking about how clean it really was, our waitress was very nice and took time to talk to us a few different times to check in on how we liked our beers, saw me writing copious reviews which is probably what made her curious, my favorites of theirs other than the barrel aged barleywine I had at Belmont Station from them a few days later were their cask conditioned IPA, altbier, and the Deluxe Organic Ale, we happened to be there during happy hour and food was very cheap, good as well, we got pizza sticks and chicken wings, our whole bill was under twenty dollars and it felt like we splurged, cannot complain about that, this would definitely warrant another visit by me in the future, recommended

An all around solid brewpub.
The space is a converted tractor showroom. These guys made every effort to promote sustainability and organic products in the design of their brewery and restaurant.
They currently have 14 standard, 1 nitro, and 2 casks on tap. Many beers are organic, others are certified salmon safe (I'm honestly not even sure what that means, but it sounds nice). You can get a 10 beer flight for $9 or a 15 beer flight for $12.
Food menu is large and high quality. Service is very good.

Great surprise just a bit outside of downtown. Beautiful bikes all over. Very good red on tap. Food smelled good but I did not eat.

Holy Moly ! This place is as Portland as it gets ! Sustainability ? Carbon neutral / zero carbon footprint ? Strip club next door ? Check, check, & check. The main downstairs area, which is always packed, will be one of the best beer-drinking atmospheres you will ever experience. You'll notice the bicycles hanging from the ceiling, because Portland LOVES its bicycles. There's an upstairs area for introverts, but you DON'T wanna be an introvert in PDX. Great beer selection listed on the classic chalkboard that all of us beer geeks know & love. The best time to visit, in my opinion, is at night. Grab a seat on the sizeable outdoor patio area and take in a very decent view of the downtown / Western Hills area. The first brewpub / beer place that I visited when I moved to Portland on a July 4. I froze my balls off. Seriously. There's also a nice wine shop across the street. So...don't be a beer idiot when you beercation in PDX. Put HUB towards the top of your list ! AND...the best & cleanest urinals in Portland.

This is an odd place, something about it feels like it isn't actually a brewery, more like a chain sports bar or something? The only thing that seemed appropriately "Portland" about the place was the fixture above the bar made out of old bike frames, though that was more trying too hard than neat.

The beer was just on the happy side of average for a Portland brewery. Most were good, nothing was really memorable. The selection was a bit better than most and they branched out in terms of style more than some similar breweries I visited on my trip to PDX. They get bonus points for offering a full on "everything on tap" sampler tray as an option rather than screwing around with six glass samplers when they have nearly twenty beers on tap.

Our food experience was limited to a soft pretzel and beer cheese dip, but it was good. The service was good as well.

Overall it's worth a visit, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get there when there are a few excellent breweries in the city, and oh so many that might as well be this one.

I live in Ohio, brother in Oregon. This is by far my favorite brewery to visit during the summer trips I make. Great atmosphere, solid brews.

crazy big selection of beers at the brewery on powell, most of them pretty delicious (I'm glad BA has spell check, bc I spell like a 3rd grader).
