22oz bottle into a tulip
Bottled on: 5/8/14
A: Pours a pale golden straw color with just over 2 fingers width of off white head. Head has fair retention, and leaves lots of lacing.
S: Fruity, spicy, lots of orange citrus. A bit of earthy funk, clove, coriander. Tons going on here. Fantastic nose.
T: Lots or citrusy orange, followed by spice on the finish. Coriander, a bit of clove, peppery spice and maybe grains of paradise. Earthy characters that are a bit funky, and build as the drink warms. Subtle bitterness on the finish.
M/D: Fuller side of medium bodied, very heavy carbonation, drying on the finish, dangerously drrinkable.
O: This beer is legit. Probably my favorite non-Fantome saison that Ive had to date. A must try.

A - Pours a cloudy but bright golden orange with a finger+ of offwhite/tan head. Solid retention, a thick outer ring and thin layer covers almost the entire surface of the beer after having resting in my HF stemware glass for about 10 minutes. Lacing is spotty but all the way up the glass.
S - Definitely has a bit of a belgian funk, orange citrusy rind notes, coriander, a little skunky, juicy sweet fruity notes mix with a minimal grainy nose.
T - wow, this is quite a saison... huge orange rind and spiced belgian flavor, lots of clover, coriander and some banana. Mild alcohol sweetness/burn, quite dry/spiced at the finish but still very fruity/citrusy sweet.
M - relatively full bodied for the style, medium bodied overall. Decent carbonation, a bit of a sipper relative to the style. Very thick.
O - Almost some kind of triple hybred. Very rhobust, but flavors, big spices, big sweetness, very good.
